Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Accord. By accessing our services, booking a vehicle, or entering into a rental agreement with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Eligibility to Rent

To rent a vehicle from Accord, the renter must:

  • Hold a valid Qatar driving license or an approved international driving license
  • Meet the minimum age requirement specified at the time of booking
  • Provide valid identification (QID or passport)
  • Provide a valid payment method

Accord reserves the right to refuse rental services if eligibility requirements are not met.

2. Rental Period

The rental period begins at the time the vehicle is handed over to the renter and ends when the vehicle is returned to Accord.

  • Late returns may result in additional charges
  • Early returns do not automatically qualify for refunds unless stated otherwise
  • Rental extensions are subject to vehicle availability and approval

3. Vehicle Use

The rented vehicle must:

  • Be used only for personal or authorized purposes
  • Be driven only by the approved driver(s) listed in the rental agreement
  • Not be used for racing, off-road driving, or illegal activities
  • Not be driven outside Qatar without prior written approval

The renter is responsible for ensuring the vehicle is operated in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.

4. Payment and Charges

Rental charges include the agreed rental fee and may include additional charges such as:

  • Fuel charges if the vehicle is not returned with the agreed fuel level
  • Traffic fines, salik or toll charges (if applicable)
  • Damage, cleaning, or repair costs beyond normal wear and tear
  • Late return penalties

All payments must be made in accordance with the agreed payment terms.

5. Security Deposit

A security deposit may be required at the time of rental. This deposit may be used to cover:

  • Traffic violations
  • Vehicle damage
  • Outstanding charges

The deposit will be refunded after vehicle return, subject to inspection and settlement of any outstanding amounts.

6. Vehicle Condition and Inspection

The renter must inspect the vehicle at the time of pickup and report any existing damage. Failure to report damages may result in the renter being held responsible.

The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received, excluding normal wear and tear.

7. Insurance and Liability

All vehicles are provided with basic insurance coverage as required by law.

  • The renter is liable for damages not covered by insurance
  • Insurance becomes void in cases of misuse, negligence, or violation of traffic laws
  • Additional insurance coverage may be available upon request

8. Traffic Violations and Fines

The renter is fully responsible for all traffic violations, fines, penalties, and legal consequences incurred during the rental period.

Accord reserves the right to charge the renter for any fines or administrative fees related to traffic violations

9. Accidents and Breakdowns

In case of an accident or breakdown:

  • The renter must inform Accord immediately
  • A police report must be obtained where required
  • The renter must not authorize repairs without approval

Failure to follow these steps may result in full liability for damages.

10. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellation policies vary depending on the rental plan
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to Accord’s refund policy
  • No-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in charges

11. Termination of Agreement

Accord reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement without prior notice if:

  • Terms and conditions are violated

  • The vehicle is misused

  • False or misleading information is provided

In such cases, the vehicle must be returned immediately, and no refunds will be issued.

12. Limitation of Liability

Accord shall not be held liable for:

  • Personal belongings left in the vehicle

  • Delays caused by mechanical issues, traffic, or external factors

  • Indirect or consequential losses

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Qatar.

14. Amendments

Accord reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be effective immediately upon publication.
